Can I have My Item Held at the Post Office?

Good question, and the simple answer is “no”. BUT, you can order via FedEx, and have your package held at FedEx office. I think the Post Office doesn’t hold packages, to get customers to buy PO Boxes, but I don’t know for sure. Also, local Post Offices are all different, and if you get to know them, you can sometimes ask them to hold some items for you, but this isn’t typically the case.

The only way around this that I know of, is to fill out the “vacation card” where they will hold ALL your mail during a specific time period, if you’re going on vacation.
